Abel Varughese is a seasoned Senior Project Manager with more than a decade of experience overseeing complex commercial development and construction projects. He is recognized for his disciplined leadership, strong technical acumen, and ability to guide owners and development teams through every stage of the project lifecycle—from early due diligence and entitlement strategy to final turnover and operational readiness.

Abel’s expertise spans site evaluation, feasibility studies, entitlements, budgeting, project scheduling, and comprehensive consultant and contractor oversight. He excels in programmatic and design analysis, leading permitting and government approvals, and managing contractor procurement, bidding, and negotiation. Throughout construction, he maintains a strong field presence and drives quality control, cost management, schedule compliance, and risk mitigation. His capabilities also extend to FF&E procurement, installation coordination, and full move-management leadership, ensuring seamless and efficient project delivery for clients.

Before joining RMSPM, Abel served as an Owner’s Representative Project Manager at Sharpe Project Developments in Ft. Lauderdale, where he oversaw ground-up developments and tenant improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client vision.  Additionally, he spent nearly a decade with ANF Group, Inc., rising from Project Engineer to Project Manager and leading projects valued up to $62 million. During this time, he established a reputation for operational excellence, financial accuracy, and team-driven leadership. His responsibilities included developing scopes of work, executing subcontractor buyout, leading OAC meetings, producing precise pay applications, and managing detailed project analytics. He brings hands-on experience with BIM coordination, MEPF systems, document control, and the mentorship of emerging project engineers, reflecting his commitment to both technical rigor and team development.
