With more than 35 years of solutions-driven leadership in design-build and construction, Russ McDaniel brings a strategic, executive-level perspective to turnkey project and construction management. As Founder and President of RMSPM, Inc., Russ guides the organization with a hands-on, client-focused approach that emphasizes accountability, innovation, and results.

Russ’s career spans the full lifecycle of development—entitlements, due diligence, budgeting, value engineering, estimating, and delivery of integrated design-build solutions. His leadership is anchored in deep field experience and a long-standing reputation for aligning project objectives with business goals, ensuring that every engagement reflects RMSPM’s commitment to excellence, transparency, and client success.

In 2008, Russ launched RMSCM, LLC, which evolved into RMSPM, Inc., expanding the firm’s capability to provide comprehensive program, project, and construction management services across both public and private sectors. Prior to that, in 2000, he founded The RMS Group, Inc., a Southern California general contracting firm specializing in entertainment, hospitality, medical, multi-family, and retail projects. After successfully growing the company, he sold it to a select leadership group while retaining ownership of RMSCM and RMSPM.

Russ’s entrepreneurial journey began even earlier, when he co-founded Tectonics Construction, Inc. in 1995. Before building multiple companies, he spent more than five years with Turner Construction Company, serving in project management, engineering, field supervision, marketing, and estimating roles. His experience includes oversight of major high-rise developments, studio and theatre renovations, post-production facilities, corporate interiors, and high-tech specialty environments ranging from $450,000 to over $300 million.

Today, Russ continues to lead RMSPM with the same principles that have defined his career—strategic insight, operational excellence, and a customized, high-touch approach to every client and every project.
