Popular questions
What is the difference between program management and project management?
Program management coordinates multiple related projects under a single strategic umbrella—aligning priorities, budgets, and schedules across an entire portfolio. Project management focuses on the planning and delivery of an individual project. RMSPM can support you at either level, or both.
At what stage should we bring RMSPM into a project?
Ideally, we are engaged at porject conception before design or site commitments are made. Early involvement allows us to support site/feasibility studies, environmental analysis, programming, budgeting, and schedule development so the project starts on a solid foundation. However, we can join at any stage to help stabilize and manage ongoing work.
Can you work with our existing architects and contractors?
Yes. We frequently join teams where design and contracting partners are already in place. Our role is to coordinate the group, clarify goals, manage contracts and deliverables, and provide the project controls needed to keep everyone aligned.
How do you keep stakeholders informed throughout the project?
We tailor reporting to your audience—ranging from technical dashboards for internal teams to concise summaries for executives, citizen oversight committees, and school boards. Regular updates on budget, schedule, risk, and decisions help ensure there are no surprises.
Do you handle FF&E and move management as part of project management?
Yes. Our services can include FF&E procurement management, logistics and coordination, as well as move management. We help plan and execute the transition into your new or renovated facility so it is fully operational on day one.
